The number of Watts is the energy consumption of the lamp. The number of Watts is the consumption per hour. A 60W lamp that is on for 10 hours therefore consumes 60 x 10 = 600 Watt-hours. What are lumens (lm)? Lumen is a unit for light output. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the lamp emits. This has nothing to do with the colour of the light. To compare lamps, it is best to compare the number of lumens. The greater the number of lumens, the higher the amount of light. Environmental information about LED bulb - RETRO - E27 - 560 lm - clear gold Unlike traditional lighting, LED lamps use much less energy. With LED lighting, 95% of the energy is converted into light. This means that only a small part is converted into heat, keeping energy consumption significantly lower. An LED lamp can therefore produce as much light as an incandescent or halogen lamp with only a fraction of the power. In addition, LED lighting does not get hot, which greatly reduces the chance of burnout compared to an incandescent bulb. LED also handles shocks and vibrations better. LED lighting can therefore last up to 50,000 burning hours. A big difference compared to incandescent bulbs with a maximum of 1000 burning hours and halogen lamps of 3500 burning hours.
