Van Beijck e-bike chargers feature a standard 4-step (smart) charging characteristic, which ensures more efficient charging of e-bike batteries. This is because a 4-step charger automatically switches off when the maximum charge capacity is reached. Batteries discharge very slowly, meaning a battery can go flat unnoticed when you're about to go cycling. Good news: the Van Beijck smart charger automatically starts trickle charging when the battery is only 75% charged, keeping the battery in good condition through continuous cycling.
