Description
The Carson AS-95 is a compact hand lamp with a 2x magnification, a 110mm lens and built-in LED lighting. Ideal for reading small print, even in situations where little light is present. The magnifier has an aspherical lens. This ensures a clearer image, while the distortion from edge to edge is greatly reduced.
To further enlarge small parts, it has a spotlens (7x magnification). This is located in the stem. The magnifying glass is equipped with an ergonomic plastic handle. The stem glass has three LED lights, which you can feed using two AAA batteries (not included). You can install these batteries in the compartment at the bottom of the stem. You can manually switch the lighting on and off and you can also set the LEDs in two brightness levels. You can control this on the housing via the slider.
The lens is made of crystal clear acrylic. Compared to glass, acrylic is lighter in weight and has a higher scratch resistance.
