The design of the Shimano M540 pedals has widened lightly and has become flatter compared to its predecessor. This ensures a larger contact surface between shoe and pedal. According to a Shimano study, this results in an increase in the trape efficiency compared to the previous M540 pedals. The mud -drainage design and two -sides in clicking system ensure smooth and loose clicks under all circumstances. An 8mm Allen key is required to assemble these lightweight pedals.
