Three-time/3-wire macramé yarn made of 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. This strong macramé cord is ideal for knotting larger projects such as wall rugs, hanging flower baskets, net bearing bags, etc. Macramé is an old technique where you use strong cooking or rope to tie different types of knots, which then form different patterns. You can learn how to make some of these buttons with our technology videos. The activity requires almost no tools except the Macramé rope / cord, although it helps to perform your button projects on a special Macramé board / clipboard. At the end of a project, the ends can be frayed and combed with a comb for another look.
