Dva značilna glavnika je enostavno prepoznati z dilofosauru. So svetlo rdeče in jih je mogoče videti od daleč. Na dolgem hrbtu svetlo rdeč greben krasi vrh repa. Njegova čudovita koža kuščarja ima modrikasto barvo na hrbtu in nogah. To je videti super! S težavo le 500 kilogramov je dilofosaurus skoraj lahek v primerjavi z drugimi dinozavri. Toda ne bi smeli podcenjevati. Carnivoor je pravi plenilec in med močnimi utripi zdrobi ribe ali manjše dinozavre, kot so arašidi. Ker ima tako močne zadnje noge, lahko zelo dobro teče in zlahka dohiti svoj plen med lovom. Bolje je, da se mu ne približate.
