This ART 2 alarm chain lock from SXP will deter thieves when they try to steal a bicycle or fat bike. The chain lock is equipped with a built-in alarm system, which can be switched on/off by means of a simple turning movement of the key. Once armed, the alarm will sound by movement of the lock body. At the first movements the lock will start with ten warning beeps. Does the chain lock then continue to move? The alarm will then be activated, with the volume increasing to 110 decibels. Perfect when the two-wheeler is parked in an area with a high risk of theft. Is the risk of theft minimal? The alarm can then easily be switched off, so you can rely on the power of the chain lock.   This powerful ART 2 approved chain lock has a hardened steel lock body, which is resistant to lock picking, sawing and drilling. This in combination with the 8.5 millimeter thick square alloy steel links makes the lock even stronger. To prevent frame damage while using the chain lock, the chain links are covered with a soft nylon cover. Alarm operation Start position: The chain lock is open, with the lock pin out of the lock housing. Enable alarm mode Insert the lock pin into the lock housing and turn the key 180 degrees (locked). After 15 seconds a second beep will sound to confirm that from this moment on the chain lock will alarm in case of movement. Don't you hear a beep? Then turn the key 180 degrees (lock open) and back 180 degrees (locked).
