The design of this screw has been improved in 2023 and meets the highest quality requirements of the professional. The coarse thread allows the screws to be driven in quickly. A transparent wax layer has been applied to the screw, making them very easy to drive in and process. And due to the extra pointed and sharp screw tip, they grip directly into the wood. The tip of the PROFTEC screw also has a pre-drilling 'cutting tip'; this allows you to work in most cases without pre-drilling, without splitting the wood. The 3.5 – 4.0 – 4.5 – 5.0mm screws can all be driven in with the same TX-20 bit. So you don't have to change bits when screwing with different screw sizes. Sharp milling ribs under the head ensure a neat finish when countersinking the screw head into the wood. All screws from 40mm length are designed as partial-thread versions, with a spiral on the shank; for optimal functioning in wood-on-wood connections. Due to the 'free' shank section on the PROFTEC screw, the second piece of wood is pulled extra tightly onto the first piece, making the wood joint much stronger. The screws are packed in a handy plastic bucket, as a bulk package. The recycled plastic bucket is convenient to use and has a handle for lifting, which saves a lot of cardboard waste if you are going to use larger quantities of screws.
