The 4.5 liter is a ground cover for terrariums in which high humidity is desired, such as some lizards or snakes. This natural, organic product expands four or five times its own size by adding water. The chips retain moisture very well and for a long time, making them perfect for use in rainforest terrariums, humid shelters and other environments where humidity must be constantly high. Of course, it is also possible to let the chips dry longer and use them in drier terrariums.
