Single-ply sheets (Single-ply): These heads are known for their open, clear sound and rich overtones. They are ideal for jazz, lighter music styles or studio work where natural resonance and a sensitive response are desired.

Double-ply sheets (Double-ply): For drummers seeking a bolder, more controlled tone, we offer dual-ply heads. These are more durable and produce a deeper, "fatter" sound with less sustain and overtones, making them ideal for rock, pop and metal.

Coated vs. Clear: Choose coated (coated) heads for a warmer, more muted sound with a pleasant texture for use with brushes. Clear (transparent) heads, on the other hand, offer a brighter sound with more projection and a faster attack.

Special editions and cushioning: We also have heads with integrated damping rings or special "power dots" in the center. These are designed to effectively suppress unwanted overtones, so you immediately get a tight, modern drum sound without having to add extra dampers.
