The pliers wrench offers up to ten times the amount of hand force, making pressing and bending work much easier and reducing strain on muscles and tendons. The ratcheting mechanism allows for faster tightening thanks to a simple "slip-on" mechanism, significantly improving accessibility in tight spaces. Self-clamping is also available from wrench size 17, and the buttonless operation makes it suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
