HDMI™ Matrix Switch 4x HDMI Input to 2x HDMI Output – HDMI™ 2.0 – 4K@60Hz This HDMI™ matrix is designed for independently switching multiple HDMI™ source devices to two HDMI™ displays. The device allows four HDMI™ sources to be individually assigned to two HDMI™ outputs. Both outputs can be simultaneously active and display a different source independently. HDMI Inputs The HDMI™ matrix features 4x HDMI-A female inputs. These inputs can connect HDMI™ source devices that provide a digital audio and video signal, such as media players, game consoles, or computers with HDMI™ output. HDMI Outputs The HDMI™ matrix features 2x HDMI-A female outputs. Each output can be independently linked to one of the HDMI™ inputs and sends the selected audio and video signal to a television, monitor, or projector. Audio Outputs For separate audio output, the matrix is equipped with an optical S/PDIF (TOSLINK) output and a 3.5 mm jack audio output. This allows audio to be transmitted independently of the HDMI™ video signal to an audio system, soundbar, or headphones. Image and Video Support The HDMI™ matrix supports image resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 @ 60 Hz (4K UHD). This corresponds to the HDMI™ 2.0 level with a maximum bandwidth of 18 Gbit/s. In addition, resolutions such as 4K@30Hz, 1080p, 1080i, and 3D are supported. HDMI Level HDMI™ 2.0 – Premium High Speed, suitable for 4K@60Hz video signals within 18 Gbit/s bandwidth. Color and Image Formats Supports RGB and YCbCr color formats. Color encodings such as YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2, and YCbCr 4:2:0 are passed through within the HDMI™ 2.0 specification. HDR / 3D Supports HDR signal pass-through and 3D video signals. The video signal is transmitted unchanged from source to display. Audio Support Supports digital audio transmission via HDMI™, including Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, LPCM, and stereo audio. Audio can be used via both HDMI™ and the separate audio outputs. Control and Signal Management The HDMI™ matrix can be controlled via an infrared remote control. This allows inputs and outputs to be switched individually. EDID communication is used for correct synchronization between source and display. Signal Direction Unidirectional per signal path. HDMI™ signals are routed from source to display. Power Supply The device is powered by an external power adapter. External power supply is required for stable operation of video and audio switching. Construction The casing is made of metal. The rear features centrally located connections for organized cable management.
