Product Description absoluteBLACK HOLLOWcage Carbon Ceramic - quiet and highly efficient oversized derailleur pulley system for Shimano R9250 The HOLLOWcage derailleur pulley system by absoluteBLACK - here in the version for the Shimano Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9250 12-speed rear derailleurs - has a super-light, single-sided carbon polymer cage and super-quiet running derailleur pulleys with oversized ceramic bearings. It is characterised by top shifting performance with extremely low noise development. The secret is the built-in Xring rubber ring, which dampens the impact of the chain on the teeth of the idler pulley, eliminating the biggest source of annoying rear derailleur noise. With the absoluteBLACK Silent-Xring pulleys, your bike ist therefore significantly quieter than with conventional polymer or aluminium derailleur pulleys and approx. 40% (or at least 5 decibels) quieter than with the original Shimano shifting cogs. Full ceramic bearings are used, i.e. both the bearing balls and the raceways are made of ceramic. This way you benefit from maximum efficiency, long durability and mileage. Ball bearing cage and seals are made of low-friction polymer. The minimalist HOLLOWcage made of carbon and polymer and its colour-contrasting lower lockring create a spectacular look.
