Tyto softboxy nejsou vhodné pro halogenové lampy (jako je QLT-1000 z Eyes Falcon Eyes), kvůli vysokému vývoji tepla těchto lamp. Softboxy ze série SBQ jsou vhodné pro takové typy lamp.
