LOCTITE® 2701 is a green, low-viscosity, high-strength methacrylate-based threadlocker, specially formulated for chrome surfaces. Fixture time of 10 min. on steel, 4 min. on brass and 25 min. on stainless steel. Tolerates slight contamination from industrial oils. Suitable for all metal fasteners. Fluoresces under UV light. Low viscosity. Fluoresces to allow quality control and inspection. High strength, especially for chrome surfaces. Prevents unwanted movement, loosening, leakage and corrosion. Resists vibration. Seals threads: allows through-hole tapping.
