For mounting a monitor or television, standard sizes known as VESA are used. VESA sizes are the dimensions found between the mounting points on a bracket and a television. With this adapter, it is possible to use a bracket with a VESA size from 100x200 to 200x200 millimeters for mounting a television with a larger VESA size.
