A compact watercolor paint set with twelve colors inspired by Vincent van Gogh's color palette Portrait of Camille Roulin. Camille was the youngest son of postal worker Joseph Roulin, with whom Van Gogh was friends in Arles (France). Van Gogh wanted to make 'modern portraits' that showed off the character of his model. “I try it with color,” he wrote to his sister Willemien. The blue of the beret, the green and red of the jacket and the yellow of the background: all these colors are reflected in Camille's face.
