Wolves is a strategy game in which players lead their own wolf pack. They must claim territories, expand the pack, develop its abilities, build dens, and hunt prey. These actions provide various benefits and victory points. Turns are controlled by double-sided terrain tiles, allowing players to perform an action on a space of that terrain depending on the action chosen. Moving wolves, building dens, and upgrading dens to dens are some of the possible actions. Some actions can only be performed with alpha wolves, whose availability is limited. Scoring points is primarily achieved by controlling certain territories at the time the moon reaches a certain phase. To control a territory, players need the most playing pieces in that territory. The competition between the different packs creates challenging gameplay. Wolves is a thematic and challenging board game with pack interaction and a variable playing field. The beautiful artwork and wooden wolves contribute to an intense gaming experience. The game is suitable for 2 to 5 players aged 14 and up and has a playing time of approximately 75 minutes.
