This ART 2 alarm chain lock from SXP will deter thieves when they try to steal a bicycle or fat bike. The chain lock is equipped with a built-in alarm system, which can be activated/deactivated with a simple turn of the key. Once activated, the alarm will be triggered by movement of the lock body. At the first movement, the lock will begin with ten warning beeps. If the chain lock continues to move, the alarm will activate, with the volume increasing to 110 decibels. Perfect if the bike is parked in an area with a high risk of theft. If the risk of theft is minimal, the alarm can be easily deactivated, leaving you confident in the strength of the chain lock. This powerful ART 2-approved chain lock has a hardened steel lock body, which is resistant to lock picking, sawing, and drilling. This, combined with the 8.5-millimeter-thick square alloy steel links, makes the lock even stronger. To prevent frame damage during use, the chain links are covered with a soft nylon sleeve. Furthermore, the lock cylinder can be sealed with a sliding cover to protect it from dirt and moisture, keeping it clean and functioning properly. Comes with two keys and a sliding card. Alarm operation: Starting position: The chain lock is open, with the lock pin removed from the lock housing. Enabling alarm mode: Insert the lock pin into the lock housing and turn the key 180 degrees (locked). If you hear a beep, alarm mode will be activated in 15 seconds; the key can now be removed from the lock housing. After 15 seconds, a second beep will sound to confirm that the chain lock will now trigger an alarm when it is moved. If you don't hear a beep, turn the key 180 degrees (locked) and then turn it back 180 degrees (locked). You will now hear the beep, and alarm mode will be activated in 15 seconds; the key can now be removed from the lock housing. After 15 seconds, a second beep will sound to confirm that the chain lock will now trigger an alarm when it is moved. Disable alarm mode: Insert the lock pin into the lock housing and turn the key 180 degrees (locked). If you hear a beep, turn the key 180 degrees (locked) and then turn it back 180 degrees (locked).
