The Statue of Liberty stands in New York City Harbor and towers more than 300 feet above Liberty Island. The statue thus welcomes sailors from all over the world. The ultimate symbol of freedom was a gift from France to the United States and was officially unveiled on October 28, 1886 in front of a huge crowd. This detailed LEGO model beautifully captures the harmony between the architecture and sculpture of the statue. It has a detailed plinth with shield and stone decoration and balconies with columns. The statue of Lady Liberty itself features a flowing robe, a broken chain, a crown with 7 points, the famous tablet and a raised arm holding a golden torch. This elegant LEGO® Architecture model has the authentic gray-green and beige colors and is finished with a decorative nameplate.
