De Makita handcirkelzaag 5903R is de bouwzaag bij uitstek door zijn solide en sterke constructie. Het is één van de sterkste 235 mm zagen in zijn klasse. De verstekinstelling is tot 45° en door de elektrische motorrem is er een vrijwel directe stilstand van het zaagblad. De machine is 900 gram lichter door gebruik van magnesium onderdelen waardoor hij makkelijker te hanteren is. De softstart zorgt voor een rustige aanloop.
