De Maxxis Rekon is een zeer volumineuze band die geschikt is voor dagelijkse tochten en ruw terrein. De band heeft een TR-versie met EXO zijwandbescherming en kan zowel zonder binnenband als met binnenband worden gebruikt. De Rekon wordt vooral aanbevolen voor het achterwiel en kan worden gecombineerd met een Forekaster voorin. De band heeft een 3C MAXX SPEED compound die zorgt voor lage rolweerstand en goede grip in bochten.
