This appliance cord with an IEC C7 connector is designed for connecting ungrounded electrical appliances with a C8 inlet to a British Type G wall socket. The cord is used for small electronic devices such as audio equipment, DVD/Blu-ray players, game consoles, radios, and ungrounded chargers. The cord features a Type G male plug (BS 1363) on the mains side and an IEC 60320 C7 female connector on the appliance side. The C7 connector is also known as the figure-8 connector and is only suitable for ungrounded devices. This is a fully voltage-passing power cord. The cord only adapts the plug standard and does not convert voltage.
