Beaphar Worm Control (formerly Ascapinal) is an oral solution for cage and aviary birds, rabbits, and rodents. It is specially formulated to combat roundworms and hairworms.
- Individual dosage; directly into the mouth:
- Dosage per 12.5 g bird weight: 1 drop (= 0.5 mg levamisole)
- Canary (25 g): 2 drops
- Budgerigar (40-50 g): 4 drops
- Large parakeet (40-100 g): 4-8 drops
- Parrot (100-1000 g): 8-80 drops
- Repeat treatment after 2 weeks.
Group dosing through drinking water:
- Dissolve 7.5 ml of worming agent in 250 ml of drinking water (30 ml per litre).
- Provide this solution as the only drinking water for all birds/rabbits/rodents present to drink for 24 hours.
- Remove any bath water.
- Repeat treatment after 2 weeks.
