The Bestway Flowclear sand filter pump is an excellent choice for keeping above-ground pools clean without additives or chemicals.
The filter pump is based on a natural filtration system: the water is pumped into a tank containing silica sand, which absorbs impurities and particles, producing clean water. The ChemConnect dispenser maintains and delivers clean, healthy pool water, as the dispenser lock provides a stable chlorine level, which is necessary for proper chemical balance. The pre-filter strainer basket is an added mechanism that traps larger particles such as leaves, hair, and dirt. It also protects your pump's impeller and helps keep the pump running smoothly.
This filter pump has a 6-position valve that can be adjusted to various settings for filtering pool water, closing (stopping the water flow), backwashing (to clean the sand bed), post-rinsing (for initial set-up, cleaning and sand bed leveling), draining water from the pool and circulating the pool water.
The built-in timer lets you set an automated work period, and the top flange design allows 360° rotation for quick and smooth installation. Note: Sand is not included.
