All screws from 40mm length are designed as partial thread variants, with a spiral on the shank; for optimal functioning in wood-to-wood connections. Due to the 'free' shoulder part of the PROFTEC screw, the second piece of wood is extra firmly pulled against the first piece, making the wood connection much stronger. The screws are packaged in a handy plastic bucket, as a bulk package.
