Macramé is an ancient technique where you use strong yarn or rope to tie different kinds of knots, which then form various patterns. The activity requires almost no tools other than the macramé rope/cord, although it helps to work on your knotting projects on a special macramé board/clipboard. At the end of a project, the ends can be unraveled and combed with a comb for a different look.
