Description

The CYCLUS TOOLS chain wear meter helps you easily determine when your chain needs to be replaced. Suitable for all ½" bicycle chains, including SRAM FlatTop. By replacing the chain in time you prevent unnecessary wear on chainrings, cassettes and derailleur wheels. The meter works with two fixed measuring points and a third point with spring pressure, which automatically applies the correct tension. This ensures an accurate and objective measurement result, regardless of how hard you push. The scale immediately shows the degree of wear; at 1% stretch the "Stop" marking appears. Replacement advice from chain manufacturers:

0.5% wear: 11-13 gears

0.75% wear: 9-10 gears

Fast, clean and easy to use Use: Clean the chain. Place the measuring pins in the inner plates and tension the spring. Place the tension point, release it, and read the wear immediately.
