These Metallic Carbon Disc Brake Pads are compatible with Assess C420/C425/C470, Avid BB3/BB5, and Promax Decipher/DC710/720/913/DSK-300(R)/310/330R/715/Render(R) disc brakes. Elvedes brake pads offer excellent value for money. The 60-segment Elvedes Discovery steel display ensures you always have the correct brake pads at hand.
- Organic compound: ideal in dry conditions, suitable for MTB / trekking / racing bikes
- Sintered compound: ideal in wet conditions, suitable for MTB
- Metallic carbon (semi-metallic) compound: ideal for both wet and dry weather conditions, suitable for e-bikes
After installing the new brake pads, it's important to bed them in for longer life. Gently pull the brake lever while riding, ensuring the pads make contact with the brake rotor. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour (15.5 mph), then brake harder at the end to reduce your speed to around 5 kilometers per hour (3 mph). Then slowly increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
