Mulan is a young girl from a famous line of warriors. When a major war breaks out in China due to a long disastrous drought, she disguises herself as a soldier and joins Khan's army in place of her old, weak father.
The war lasts 12 years and Mulan continues to rise in rank. Ultimately, she is captured by the enemies and thrown into the dungeons, where an old sage helps her escape. In the breathtaking second part of the film, Mulan, helped by the magic coin, battles the elements of nature, defeats the enemy and manages to awaken the dragon, which melts the snow of the Himalayas, ending the long period of drought. The war is over, but the legend of Mulan continues to this day.
