Description
One of Johnny Kraaykamp's most enjoyable films ever. He plays the protagonist, Tim, a traveling salesman and a good family man, married to Jet and father of two. In Friesland, he reconnects with his buddy Bodde (Piet Romer), with whom he had been tearing up the city ten years earlier, living the life of the town under the motto: "laugh, laugh, laugh." Tim succumbs to Bodde's suggestion that they go on a wild ride together. Their wanderings take them from the Frisian cattle markets to a Limburg rectory where they sell off a collection of holy statues. Along the way, they meet Aafke, with whom Tim develops a romance, and the con-artist duo Kwint and Dolores. It becomes a wild affair, but ultimately, Tim comes to the conclusion that his place is with Jet and the children after all.
