One of the nicest films Johnny Kraaykamp ever made. He plays the main character Tim, traveling salesman and good family man, married to Jet and father of two children. In Friesland he meets his partner Bodde (Piet Romer) again, with whom he made the city and country unsafe ten years ago under the motto: 'laugh, laugh, laugh'. Tim gives in to Bodde's proposal to go shopping together. Their wandering takes them from the Frisian cattle markets to a Limburg parsonage where they sell a batch of holy images. Along the way they meet Aafke, with whom Tim experiences a romance, and the scammer duo Kwint and Dolores. It gets crazy, but eventually Tim comes to the conclusion that his place is with Jet and the children.
