Description
John Richardson (James Brolin) leads the oil company in Central America with iron hand. He receives a visit from Jesse Martin (Jay Robberts), an engineer who wants to continue his career in John's company. Jesse can forget that career if it turns out that there is a hard fight between the army and local Guerilla gangs who claim the power over the oil fields. In the violence, the boundaries between good and evil fade, while Jesse falls in love with the beautiful native Sybille and an idealistic American teacher. If at some point the army is murdering a whole village, something breaks at Jesse. He will have to choose between good and evil, his job and his loved ones.
