The Falcon Eyes SO-48TDX II (or the modernized SO-48TD) is a bi-color LED lamp with an extremely soft light. The SO-48TDX II has a power of 48 watts and a diameter of 48 cm. The light is emitted in a single, soft haze, making the individual LEDs invisible.
To optimally adjust the light, you can use a number of handy functions. For example, you can adjust the color temperature from 3000K (warm yellow light) to 5600K (daylight). You can also infinitely increase or decrease the power. In addition, you can use theme effects with the SO-48TDX II to realistically recreate a variety of situations. You can use the Sophiez lamp via mains power, but also with an optionally available V-mount battery. This lamp comes standard with a An adapter is included, making it possible to use the LED lamp with two NP-F batteries. The lamp features a universal spigot mount, allowing it to fit any standard lamp stand. The lamp is equipped with pivot points on the sides, allowing you to adjust it to virtually any angle.
What does TDX II mean?
The SO-48TDX II (TDX version 2) can be seen as an upgrade/restyle of the SO-48TD. What's changed? In addition to the familiar features, you can now also use 9 themed effects, such as flashing lights, lightning, and candlelight. This offers even more possibilities for video recording, for example. The control menu, which allows you to control the lamp's settings—such as color temperature—has also been redesigned. To control the SO-48TDX II remotely, you'll need the RC-5B remote control (see optional accessories). If you still have the regular SO-48TD, you can control the lamp using the Falcon Eyes RC-6. To centrally control multiple TDX lamps, you can now use DMX with a Mini XLR connection, or simply the remote control.
