As with other members of the PowerGear family, the patented PowerGear mechanism makes cutting 3 times easier compared to standard mechanisms, which is a huge advantage. The upper blade is made of high-quality, hardened carbon steel, which allows it to be sharpened and stay sharp longer. The quality of the blade is further enhanced by a non-stick PTFE coating, which reduces friction and ensures easier cutting and cleaning.
