The Escape bicycle tire is a capable trail tire available in a wide range of sizes for every region, offering versatile off-road performance in all conditions. Widely spaced and carefully placed square knobs provide edge-to-edge grip, advanced rubber compounds ensure traction on a wide variety of terrains, and durable casings provide security wherever the trail leads. A wire bead tire that is functional without an inner tube but requires a sealant to maintain tire pressure as defined by ISO 4223-1. A tubeless ready bicycle tire uses a butyl-coated bead to seal the tire against the rim. Generally, the rim is sealed with a non-porous tape, while the tire casing requires sealant to retain air. This tire is very suitable for a mountain bike where the tire size fits.
