The Cobolt offers a 60% reduction in force compared to conventional power diagonal cutters. The ingenious transmission mechanism guarantees extremely favorable leverage ratios with minimal friction. Cutting forces are over 30 times the applied hand force. The cutting edges are additionally induction hardened with a hardness of approximately 64 HRC, making them suitable for soft, hard, and piano wires. The bolt cutter cuts materials such as bolts, nails, rivets, etc., up to Ø 5.2 mm. Thanks to the gripping surface under the joint, you can grip and pull wires from Ø 1.0 mm. Thanks to the chrome-vanadium high-quality steel, which is also forged and oil-hardened, the pliers are extremely robust and will last a very long time.
