Simply use the knob to adjust the desired cutting thickness (1, 1.5 or 2 mm) and slice the cut over the stainless steel blade for perfect, even slices. The transparent surface keeps sliced food visible. you can cut directly on a cutting board or plate - the non-slip foot then provides a stable stand. You can also cut over a bowl by hooking the foot over the edge of the bowl. The scrap holder protects your fingers and also covers the blades when the mandolin is not in use for safe storage. The soft, comfortable grip supports your hand during use and is non-slip, even when your hands are wet. The handle is also equipped with a hanging eye.
