PROFTEC drywall screws are of professional quality with a high breaking strength, low driving resistance, and a perfectly formed sharp tip that ensures a quick start of the screw in various building materials. The black phosphate coating on the hardened steel drywall screws ensures good adhesion of the plasterwork and is sufficiently rust-resistant to prevent staining. The drywall screw has a trumpet head to prevent damage to the paper layer on the drywall panel and to firmly tighten the panels. The screws have a Phillips drive (cross head) and are available with three different thread types: fine thread for fastening drywall panels to metal studs, coarse thread for fastening drywall panels to wooden framing, and screws with a Hi-Lo thread with double pitch for all-round use, including for use in harder fiberboards.
