The proboscis monkey from the Schleich® WILD LIFE theme world is a primate species that lives in the rainforests and mangrove forests of the Asian island of Borneo. Males have a noticeably large nose that can grow up to 10 cm long. However, they don't have a particularly good sense of smell. Researchers believe their nose serves to impress females. Proboscis monkeys are diurnal mammals. They live in small groups and feed on leaves and fruit.
