The Marathon E-Plus is the new top-of-the-line e-bike tire with a modern and dynamic tread design. This tire offers maximum safety at higher speeds and long distances. The rubber compound is of the highest Marathon quality and meets the highest requirements for an e-bike tire. The tire is suitable for e-bikes up to 50 kilometers per hour and has a maximum load of 136 kg. The Marathon E-Plus features SmartGuard, the most effective puncture protection layer for bicycle tires. This layer is made of 5 mm highly elastic special rubber, partly made from recycled rubber. The tire has Schwalbe puncture protection level 7 and is additionally protected against cuts from sharp objects by the Smart-DualGuard. The tire has excellent grip, even at high speeds, thanks to the ADDIX-E compound. Furthermore, the Marathon E-Plus rides surprisingly smoothly thanks to the use of high-tech materials. The sidewall features an "Anti-Aging" layer that is more resistant to overload due to low tire pressure. The tread design of the E-Plus is modern and dynamic, making the tire versatile for touring and trekking. The Marathon E-Plus is ECE-R75 certified and suitable for pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h and S-pedelecs.
