Scythe's Kotetsu Mark II TUF GAMING ALLIANCE utilizes a revised version of the secure and user-friendly Hyper Precision Mounting System. A pre-assembled mounting rod makes installation much easier, while spring-loaded screws ensure balanced contact pressure. Combined with the revised backplate and rubber/plastic standoffs, the system offers a simple and convenient installation process and compatibility with current sockets, including AMD's AM4 and Intel's LGA 2066 platforms. To ensure high running speeds and an average lifespan of 120,000 hours, the Kotetsu Mark II TUF utilizes an RGB LED PWM fan from the award-winning Kaze Flex series. The self-contained fluid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) minimizes friction and wear thanks to a special oil film. Colored, rubberized contact surfaces have a decoupling effect and prevent vibration transfer. Eight RGB LEDs arranged in a ring around the fan motor provide even and powerful illumination of the translucent fan blades. For maximum compatibility, the heatsink is not centered directly above the base plate, but is offset slightly to the rear and sides. This asymmetrical design leaves ample space, even for large-format GPU coolers. With its compact height of just 154 mm, the Kotetsu Mark II easily fits into standard PC cases.
