This crankset is compatible with 9-speed Shimano chains. The tooth spacing is 44-32-22 (steel) and the chainline is 50mm. The crankarm is made of aluminum and is compatible with a chainguard. This crankset requires JIS square bearing cups. Please note: the bottom bracket is not included. A suitable bottom bracket is the BB-UN55 with an axle length of 122mm, JIS square.
