The SmokeGENIE is a compact fog machine that produces a surprising amount of fog at the touch of a button. A single battery charge keeps the SmokeGENIE running for up to four hours. It's ideal for creative photography, film productions, and performances where you can create a unique atmosphere by blowing smoke or fog into the room. Thanks to the various attachments, you can choose to concentrate the smoke in a single spot or spread it widely. It's even possible to let the smoke linger in a specific area for more than 10 seconds, for example, on a shooting table or around clothing.
Different positions SmokeGENIE
This set is specifically designed for generating fog on location or in a room. However, the SmokeGENIE kit can be expanded. You have complete control over the SmokeGENIE's smoke production. There are 25 different settings for distribution and smoke volume. With the included attachments, you can determine the type of smoke or fog and the direction. Below are the three basic options:
Fog
Spreads across the room over a distance of several meters. To do this, simply slide the included mini fan onto the SmokeGENIE. It runs on a battery (18650) or via USB-C power and can be controlled via the Magic remote. The SmokeGENIE fills an average-sized room with fog, creating a mystical effect. Ideal in combination with LED spotlights, so that light beams are visible in your shots. Manufacturer tests show that the smoke lasts twice as long as traditional fog generators.
SmokeGENIE in practice
Mist remains visible in a room for 10 to 45 minutes, depending on the level of ventilation. The carrying case contains a complete Hazer kit. You can use the SmokeGENIE directly using the button on the back or with the included remote control. This remote control has four channels, allowing users to easily control the SmokeGENIE fog machines in various ways. Fog production can be started and stopped from a distance of 5 meters. The remote control also controls the mini fan and the SmokeGENIE fog machines simultaneously. The remote control operates on a 23A 12V battery, which is not included. The SmokeGENIE itself uses two 18650 batteries (with flat heads). These are not included. If you use rechargeable 18650 batteries, charge them via the SmokeGENIE's USB-C port—even while the SmokeGENIE is in use. Always place the plastic heat shield around the capsule and at least one tube on the SmokeGENIE before use, as the capsule and output will be hot. To use the SmokeGENIE in practice, follow these steps:
1. Fill a smoke capsule with the liquid. There's an opening at the top, behind the rubber cap. The liquid comes in a 100 ml bottle, enough for four hours of non-stop smoke production on setting 3. Bottles and capsules are also available separately (see optional accessories).
2. Screw the capsule onto the SmokeGENIE (threaded connection).
3.Insert two 18650 batteries into the SmokeGENIE (not included).
4. Press the button on the front three times. The SmokeGENIE is ready to use almost immediately, so you can produce smoke immediately with the button on the back (or the included remote control).
SmokeGENIE Application
If you're a creative person who enjoys using smoke or fog, the SmokeGENIE is ideal. It's perfect for filming, for example, to create smoke under the hood or from the kitchen. It's also very suitable for use in theaters to produce localized smoke. The SmokeGENIE is ready to use, lightweight, operates from a distance of five meters with the remote control (433MHz), and runs for hours on standby, producing smoke immediately and for a long time at the press of a button. Unlike traditional fog machines, the SmokeGENIE doesn't produce unwanted puffs of smoke on standby.
Technical specifications SmokeGENIE
The SmokeGENIE comes with one capsule of smoke fluid. This consumable lasts for at least 50 hours and is available separately (see optional accessories). You fill the SmokeGENIE capsule with special SmokeGENIE fluid, made from food-safe vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol. The Hazer kit includes one 100ml capsule. The smoke is safe for both humans and animals to inhale indoors. The capsule holds 9ml of SmokeGENIE fluid, enough for an average of 15 minutes of smoke production. Fluid from other manufacturers is not suitable. The SmokeGENIE capsule becomes warm during use. When the plastic cap of the capsule changes color from purple to orange, the capsule is too hot to touch. The capsule's casing is made of heat-, shock-, and shatter-resistant polymer material.
