Description

The SK-BD420 from Studioking is a silver-colored Beauty Dish (? 42 cm) that is supplied with a honeycomb, diffuse cloth and a reflector. As the name suggests, you can photograph people in the most beautiful way with a Beauty Dish. It provides a wide spread and a great contrast, so that details of a person (think of skin tones or muscles) are highlighted in the most beautiful way. In comparison with a white beauty dish, a silver color ensures that details come out even better.

How does it work?

The reflector attaches you to the three 'sticks' on the inside of the Beauty Dish. This reflects and distributed the light. You can use the honeycomb to send the flash light more. With the diffuse cloth you can soften the light. Different adapter rings are optionally available (NB: These are not standard included in this product).

Which brands of flash units can I use the beauty dish?

You can easily use this beauty dish using adapter rings with many different brands, including Bowens, Broncolor, Elinchrom, Falcon Eyes, Hensel, Multiblitz and Linkstar. Adapter rings are available for all these brands, which you will find with the optional accessories. Beside the 152mm adapter rings you can also connect this beauty dish to adapters with a 144mm diameter. This allows you to save a considerable amount because you no longer have to purchase the original accessories from a certain brand.
