Gouache set with 6 colors in ready-to-use glass bottles. This set contains the essential colors to mix with, whether you're learning about color for the first time or are ready to mix your own. The bottles are supplied in a sturdy cardboard box with handy color samples.
Talens Gouache Extra Fine is a highly pigmented paint with a matte finish. Although gouache is popular with artists and designers because of its intense and opaque colors, they can be made slightly more transparent by adding water. This gouache is made with a high concentration of high-quality pigments and is based on dextrin, which gives the paint a smooth consistency and reduces the gloss.
With gouache you can create even, matte blocks of color without visible brush strokes. Use the colors with water to dilute, blend and create streak-free color transitions. Gouache is not waterproof after drying, which means that you can still rework the colors with water after drying.
