The Trixie Reptiland Mini Prosun Mixed D3 UV-B Lamp Self-Starting 70 Watt is a lamp for reptiles that combines UVB, UVA, and heat radiation in the terrarium. Heat is vital for reptiles to maintain their body temperature, UVA ensures a good appetite and an active animal, and UVB mimics the sun's radiation. Only under UVB light can the animal produce vitamin D3, which is indispensable for proper bone development and metabolism. This lamp combines all these elements and thus ensures a healthy animal. The lamp has a large fitting (E27) and has a built-in ballast. No separate ballast is needed with this lamp.
