The Trixie Life Jacket for Dogs Yellow / Black XS up to 12 kg is a comfortable and functional life jacket with rescue handle, designed to give your dog extra support while swimming , playing in the water or riding along on the boat. The vest is made of sturdy polyester and stays in place thanks to adjustable nylon straps with click closures and a wide Velcro closure. Due to the anatomical fit , the vest is comfortable to wear and does not restrict your dog 's freedom of movement . The sturdy rescue handle with two D - rings allows for quick intervention when necessary .

Which size do you choose ?
The life jacket is available in five sizes. When choosing one, pay particular attention to your dog's weight – this is more important than back length. A well -fitting jacket should also not cover the base of the tail , as dogs use their tails to steer in the water . Measure your dog carefully and check the dimensions to ensure a good fit.

XS : up to 12 kg - back length 28 cm - waist circumference 30- 50 cm
S : up to 20 kg - back length 35 cm - waist circumference 42- 66 cm
M : up to 30 kg - back length 45 cm - waist circumference 45- 72 cm
. L: up to 36 kg - back length 55 cm - waist circumference 50- 80 cm
. XL: up to 45 kg - back length 55 cm - waist circumference 60- 96 cm

Note : Choose the size based on your dog's weight , not just the length of their back. Make sure the vest does n't cover the base of your dog's tail so your dog can steer freely in the water.
