This pond liner is not only fish- and plant-friendly, but also UV-stable, frost-resistant, and rot-resistant. It's even resistant to roots, with the exception of bamboo and various types of reeds.
Ubbink always recommends placing a layer of Ubbink fleece/felt textile underneath the foil to protect it.
If growing roots pose a risk, place a natural anti-root sheet/groundsheet under the foil.
