FeaturesBefore starting electrical installation work, electricians must ensure that the work environment is de-energized. A voltage tester is required to locate electrical AC voltage fields or suspected causes of faults. An initial indication of whether the installation is actually de-energized can be obtained with the contactless Wiha voltage tester, thanks to its visual and acoustic signalling. After switching it on, the permanently green LED indicates that the tool is ready for use. During the voltage check, depending on the strength of the AC voltage field, the LEDs light up from blue (weak) to orange to red (strong). Two AAA batteries are required for use, which are included in the delivery. If the device is not used for more than 4 minutes, it switches off automatically to save energy. An integrated LED can illuminate the measurement location in the dark. It can also be used as a flashlight by manually switching it on and off.
