20 Second Showdown is a fast game for 5-20 players. One player is the referee. The others divide over two teams, sit opposite each other and brace themselves.
- At the start of each round, the referee puts the hourglass back with an even amount of sand in each half.
- The referee turns the hourglass and reads the map. Each card contains 2 challenges and the referee determines which way is used in a round.
- "Get up and put the YMCA. Imagine yourself neatly without closing your mouth. Name three countries that start with the letter B. Use your own sock as a hand puppet. Name all the things you have eaten today."
- With every challenge, the referee turns the hourglass.
- To win, you have to force the other team to be without sand by completing your challenges as quickly as possible.
- The first team to be without sand loses the round and the first team to win three laps is crowned champion!
